Port of Benton wins $200,000!

Congratulations to Calyx Client, Washington VERTical / Port of Benton, on winning an Evergreen Manufacturing Growth Grant!

Launched in 2021 as part of Washington’s ICAP, Washington VERTical is a vast coalition of businesses, educational and research institutions, nonprofits and local governments working together to spur the development of U.S-based energy suppliers and supply chains. Its goal is to accelerate the deployment of advanced nuclear and other next-generation, carbon-free energy technologies.

This $200K grant will support conducting a readiness assessment and business / market analysis for the creation of an Advanced Manufacturing Center in the Tri-Cities. Total eventual job creation is estimated to be 50 to 100 jobs!
